Scottish roots remind us of the soothing elements of soft Scottish water that's gentle enough even for the most sensitive skin. At the same time, our scents are inspired by the vibrancy and passion of Latin cultures. We believe personal care should be indulgent but effective. From never-before-seen textures to addictive scents, we push boundaries. We wanted to create a new collection of personal care that hasn't been done before. We know sensitive skin. A lot of skincare products that are made for people with sensitive skin tend to lack fragrance. Why is that? Many people with sensitive skin can't typically to lerate fragrance oils or synthetic fragrances. It often causes skin reactions like redness or blotchiness, and it’s painful or itchy for some. Eliminating odor from personal care products helps eradicate the risks of a response - but alters the overall experience. Aroma is a huge part of our self-care rituals. The right fragrances can help you relax and wind down for the day or invigorate the senses when you need a boost in the morning. At Lochlan Reece, we use skin-friendly oils to complement our products so everyone can experience the ultimate self-care routine.

We couldn't resist a nod to our Scottish birth place when we selected names for our products. Our Body Wash, Body Lotion and Shower Powder range of products are named after one of the beautiful Scottish islands. These iconic landscapes and the exquisite waters remind us of home. We hope to share a little bit of our birth place with you.
We use fragrance oils to scent our products. Some of our skincare items are crafted with complex Latin fragrance oils to liven your senses, while other products provide a tamer scent. However, all of our products are crafted with fragrance oils made from natural ingredients and sourced through out the world. These oils are created by separating natural aromatic components from a complex scent.
It depends where and how the oils are soured. People with all skin types deserve to enjoy luxurious bath and body products. Lochlan Reece skin and body care products are safe for people with sensitive skin. The risks of an adverse reaction with our products are almost completely eliminated because of how our fragrance oils are manufactured. We source ingredients specifically for sensitive skin types. We use technology to help us obtain the best parts of the natural ingredients in our formulas. Before any Lochlan Reece product is released, it's thoroughly tested. (For reference, we're 100% cruelty-free, and no animals are involved or harmed in any aspect of our brand.) In addition, we conduct field tests on volunteer individuals with many different skin types that tend to have adverse skin reactions to fragrance oils. To date, not one member of our test group has ever experienced any form of adverse reaction to any of our products. On the contrary, we had positive feedback all across the board.
If you have ultra-sensitive skin, skin allergies, or a condition like eczema or psoriasis, we recommend doing a patch test first. To do a patch test, apply a small amount of product to clean skin - behind the inner elbow or the back of your hand works well. We suggest waiting 24 hours to see if a reaction occurs. If not, you should be good to go! If you have a known allergy to an ingredient, you can find all the ingredients we use printed directly on our packaging.
